{"id":383,"date":"2019-06-04T16:12:22","date_gmt":"2019-06-04T14:12:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/negociation-ecologique.fr\/?p=383"},"modified":"2019-06-18T15:34:39","modified_gmt":"2019-06-18T13:34:39","slug":"what-is-ecological-negotiation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/negociation-ecologique.fr\/index.php\/en\/2019\/06\/04\/what-is-ecological-negotiation\/","title":{"rendered":"What is ecological negotiation?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ecological Negotiation is a negotiation whose object and consequences go beyond purely anthropocentric considerations and directly affect the future of nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a long time, decisions about the future of nature have been made unilaterally between policy makers and promoters. Administrative procedures aimed at informing the public of a new project did not allow for a real sharing of knowledge about the local natural context, nor to obtain a real influence in the final decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the work of a thesis in law, we realize that the law applicable to environmental impact studies could allow nature to be better defended in negotiations that may have consequences for its future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To improve the consideration of nature in negotiations, a group of researchers and environmental engineering companies, called Nego-Eco \u00a9, develops research and innovation in two main areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; training of actors in ecological negotiation <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; development of methodologies and tools for decision support<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These approaches allow a constant improvement of the consideration of nature in the decisions that concern it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal is to tighten the human-nature links and better translate the influences of one on the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this, it is necessary to better understand how the law is built and how each actor can find his place to act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/negociation-ecologique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/environnement2-1024x683.jpeg\" alt=\"L\u2019attribut alt de cette image est vide, son nom de fichier est environnement2-1024x683.jpeg.\" width=\"356\" height=\"271\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ecological Negotiation is a negotiation whose object and consequences go beyond purely anthropocentric considerations and directly affect the future of nature.
